Bennett Model Black
Manufactured by the Bennett Typewriter Company of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Invented by Charles Bennett of Dover, New Jersey. By today's standards, the Bennett would be called a Notebook Portable. It was very small and compact with a leather carrying case. It was originally introduced as the Junior typewriter and was inked by two rollers. The Bennett model was patented in 1907 with a ribbon inking system.  (more...)
